Ebay Auction Sniping - Hunting that Holiday Bargain

I was reminded today of the great time I used to have back when I owned an online shop. Part of the fun for me was collecting new product at discounts online. (FYI I owned a comic book shop)

That being said I got into a great conversation with an attractive young lady, and she mentioned that she was in an online buying frenzy due to the holiday. She had complained about losing a number of bids on ebay, and I remembered about all the great software they have available to make bidding easier.

So Stephanie, check out these two choices:

Sniping Software... A program that places a bid in an online auction just a few seconds before the bidding is scheduled to close for that item.

JustSnipe - Up to five snipes a week are free. If you need more than five snipes a week, it's only five dollars a month. That makes it the cheapest snipe program available. Doesn't rely on browser add-ons, but instead uses a simple bookmark button. Even if you are not familiar with putting bookmarks on your toolbars, the process will only take a few minutes. extremely easy to learn.

AuctionBlitz - A neat feature of this system is it will track a group of snipes and when you win one automatically cancels the others. This is a great feature if you want to buy software or a movie or something. Payment through paypal only. Must agree to payment terms before the free trial period begins and they will charge your paypal account after the trial period unless you cancel. $16.99 a year. Use discount code OAA to get a discount if you sign up.

Hope these two options are helpful with your Christmas shopping...Enjoy!

Another idea for finding products at discount online - try searching eBay for listings that have main key words misspelled in the title.

Most interested buyers will never see these misspelled listings, so you have a better chance of getting a good deal.

You can use a site like ebuyersedge.com (typojoe.com, etc) to search ebay for common misspellings of keywords you enter.

Ebuyersedge also gives you the option of saving your favorite searches, then sending you an email when an item is listed matching one your saved searches, giving you a jump on other potential buyers.

This works best with 'Buy It Now's, but is also effective with auctions.
